King 3b Concert H.N. White Trombone -1967 w/Aligator Coffin Case

USED King 3B Concert H.N. White Trombone

King 3B  Concert H.N. White 1950's Vintage.  Was made between 1965-1969, is about the earilest one that we have seen here.  King introduced the model in 1954.  This one is all original parts, and a good amount of original finish still entact. Has the classic 3B 8" Yellow brass bell, lightweight nickel .508 bore handslide.  J.J. Johnson played this model.  Kings are well known for a sweet centered sound.  This one plays easy and comes from the family of the original owner and fine trombone player from Tulsa that played for MANY MANY years.  Was well maintained and cared for.  Handslide tubes are in good condition. This 3B has the Aligator coffin case with red interior. One of the features of the early 3B's is that the tuning crook is a little longer than the later ones, which definitely effects both sound and pitch. This Would be a fantastic pro level jazz trombone for anyone, all levels of playing.  And we are honored to get this legendary horn to another fine home to be cared for and played for another generation.
