A deeper, more open version of the 6MP. The wider rim diameter coupled with the extra depth and a larger throat create a darker mellophone sound.
Rim diameter equivalent to a Bach 3. This mellophone mouthpiece uses the number 5 rim with a deeper V shape cup than the other mellophone models. This particular mouthpiece has a 19 throat and our number 4 backbore.
