The Yamaha BB "Broad Bass" has a rich history, extending all the way back to the late '70s. These instantly recognizable basses are a great alternative to the norm - and this BB735A 5-string is a great value too! For a super affordable price, you get a vintage-inspired Yamaha bass with a 3 ply alder/maple/alder body, and a 5 piece maple/mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard and 6 bolt neck joint. It's loaded with alnico 5 magnet VSP7n and VSC7b pickups, and a very cool "convertible" bridge, with a special diagonal loading angle if you string through the body - or you can top load it! It also features lightweight open gear tuners and a unique multi-point pickguard.
