Introducing the Alto Clef for Trombone

A progressive and musical way to learn to read the alto clef. Beginning with only 8 notes in quarter and half note rhythms, the book slowly progresses by adding only a few new notes at a time. The book is also progressive rhythmically and also reviews key signatures. In addition to a review of Italian musical terms, the book uses less common German and French terms that will be encountered in advanced literature and orchestral music. A pronouncing glossary is provided for these foreign terms. A selection of standard orchestral audition excerpts in alto clef are also included.
